You may already be eating less or cutting carbs, yet your waist, body-fat percentage or weight no longer responds the way it used to. You're not imagining it, and it isn't a lack of willpower.
You already know the rules. So why does progress stall?
"I'm eating less, but nothing is moving." That's the plateau. "My belly feels harder to shift." That's a body-composition change. "My body doesn't respond the way it used to." That often comes after pregnancy, menopause or other life changes. "I lose it, then it comes back." That's the rebound cycle. When the answer is always "try harder", it becomes very easy to end up starting over again.
The harder you push, the harder your body can resist
When intake and body weight change, hunger, energy use and other signals can adapt too. It usually goes like this: you restrict harder, your body detects the change, your signals adapt, progress slows, restriction gets harder, and then the rebound.
Your weight is not controlled by one switch
When you push one part hard, your body may compensate somewhere else. We call this the Biological Compensation Effect. That's why fixing one part at a time can keep missing the bigger picture. Cut out sugar and the body works harder to hoard sugar. Cut out fat and the body clings to fat. Cut out carbs and the body assumes starvation and slows fat-burning. Stop the injection and the spring snaps back.
What helps instead
Look after the five parts at the same time: gut and fullness, fluid, nourishment, carbs and fats. When no single part is pushed on its own, the body has less to push back against. That is the whole idea behind the ZENSO programme, and why it's five formulas and not one.
